Glossop North End have one foot on the hallowed turf of Wembley after a battling first leg win down at St Austell in the FA Vase semi-final.

Goals in either half from Lee Blackshaw and Ben Richardson ensured that the Hillmen will take a healthy two-goal lead back to Surrey Street this Saturday (3pm).

GNE are set to be spurred on by a huge home crowd as they look to seal a result that ensures a return to Wembley - their first since the 2009 Vase final when they lost to Whitley Bay. Tickets are sold out for Saturday. Report on Page 63
