The Gladiators have come out of the hat second in all four of their rounds so far, their Preliminary Round tie with OJM Black Country Rangers was switched to the Proctor Cars Stadium after OJM had ground issues.

Matlock have yet to concede a goal in their run to date, the 1-0 win against OJM being followed by a 2-0 victory at Quorn before another single goal win at Grantham Town on Saturday.

Guiseley have played just the one FA Cup game so far, a comfortable 4-0 home victory against Matlock’s NPL Premier Division rivals Atherton Colleries on Saturday.

The draw does not give much cheer to Matlock fans though for as things stand, with Guiseley being classed as an elite club, the tie will have to be played behind closed doors.
