Just two months after claiming the League Two title, Chesterfield got their hands on another piece of silverware in the form of the Autoworld Trophy.
Goals from Armand Gnanduillet, Sam Morsy, Eoin Doyle and Dan Gardner completed a comfortable 4-1 victory for the Spireites at the Autoworld Arena.
Matt Andrew got his name on the scoresheet on the second half for the Gladiators, which was never more than consolation for the Northern Premier side.
