First outing for the Blades

This will be Sheffield United’s first pre-season friendly as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.

It will be interesting to see what sort of line-up they go with.

New signing Anis Slimane, a 22-year-old Tunisia international, who signed from Danish side Brondby on Thursday, could make his debut.

Spireites’ pre-season so far

Paul Cook’s men have beaten Matlock Town 9-0, Alfreton Town 5-1 and lost 2-1 to Sheffield Wednesday.

After today, they also face Derby County, Accrington Stanley and Bristol Rovers.
