MATLOCK FC celebrated their new kit sponsorship deal with MTH Tool Hire by recording a 4-2 win at Belper United in the Central Midlands Reserve League.
Matlock Town’s reserves side won the game through two cracking goals from Liam Hendley, one in each half, plus a fine climbing header from Mark Rawson in the second half, and a strike from James Whitfield, who has just signed for the first team. All in all, this was a good all-round team performance.
Peter Morley, director of MTH Tool Hire Ltd, said: “We’re proud to be sponsoring Matlock Town Reserves. “Supporting local teams and events is important to us, it provides credibility and a foothold in the community for both parties.
“Even the sportswear was sourced locally and we’re delighted that the team were pleased with their new kit.”
