A host of former Sheffield Wednesday players are out on the free agent market - some have been linked with moves already, while with others we wait.
From the likes of modern icon Kieran Lee to short-term flops such as Elias Kachunga, have a wander through the wide range of 19 free agent former Owls and take a look at suggestions of where they might end up next.
5. Lloyd Isgrove
Now 30, Isgrove spent a short amount if time on loan with Wednesday in 2015. Since went on to relative success with Barnsley, Swindon and more recently Bolton, from whom he has now been released. Reports over his next club have been few and far between. Photo: Joe Dent
6. Morgan Fox
A left-sided defender back in the Wales squad and having played over 40 league matches last season, Fox had a mixed time of it at Wednesday but ended his spell in the good graces of supporters having chosen to play on through the Covid-extended season despite his contract coming to an end. Has had injuries at Stoke but appeared to get past them last season. Linked with Coventry, West Brom and Sunderland. Photo: Nathan Stirk/Getty Images
7. Sam Winnall
Another player released by Wednesday in 2020, he spent time at Oxford before spending last season with Burton. Scored at S6 in the Papa Johns Trophy but injuries punctured his campaign and he’s now looking for a new club. Where he ends up next is unknown.
8. Jordan Thorniley
It’s four years since Thorniley left Wednesday as Garry Monk sought to cut down a bloated squad. Enjoyed some success at Blackpool, where he was promoted in 2021, but will leave in the coming weeks after their subsequent relegation. Aged 26, he’ll have little issue finding another EFL club, you’d think. Photo: Gareth Copley/Getty Images
