The Paul Pogba saga rumbles on today, with The Guardian reporting that Manchester United have made an improved bid for the French midfielder.
United are said to have upped their bid to a staggering £92m, but Juventus want another 10m euros for the 23-year-old.
The Daily Mirror say that Chelsea’s Diego Costa is still a target for former club Atletico Madrid.
And the Blues are believed to want Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata as a replacement.
In the Daily Mail it says Juventus are planning a bid for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic, to take Pogba’s place.
The Sun claim that Liverpool will pay £8m to take full-back Ben Chilwell from Leicester.
And in Spain, Marca report that Raphael Varane insists he won’t be reunited with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, instead opting to stay with Real Madrid.
According to The Stoke Sentinel, Stoke are lining up a club-record bid for Wes Brom star Saido Berahino.
Their initial offer of £20m was rejected.
