The Blues’ festive games against Dover Athletic (December 22), Solihull Moors (December 26) and King’s Lynn Town (December 28) all had to be postponed and the whole club had to go into isolation until December 30.

As a result of the positive Covid tests, the players have been unable to train.

The Spireites’ trip to Solihull has been rearranged for Tuesday, January 5 (7.45pm KO) and the visit to Dover Athletic will take place on Tuesday, March 23 (7.45pm KO).

Town are next in action on Saturday (January 2) at home to Solihull before the return fixture three days later.

Chesterfield will then play five of their next six games away from home including an FA Trophy fourth round tie at National League North Boston United.

No date has yet been set for the home match against King’s Lynn Town.
