Gladiators are held at Sutton Coldfield
Matlock Town edged closer to Premier Division safety with a 2-2 draw at Sutton Coldfield Town on Saturday.
The result means Matlock are eight points clear of the relegation zone with only three games to play.
Charlie Dawes put Matlock in front on 32 minutes but Luke Rodgers immediately put the sides level a minute later.
Jordan Ball regained the lead just after half-time, but Cameron Gayle’s equaliser on 71 minutes ensured the points were shared.
