Do you want to take part in the 11th Derby 10k for free and raise money for a local charity at the same time?
The 11th Derby 10k and 3k is taking place at Pride Park Stadium on April 1. Organisers are looking for people who want a challenge while raising money at the same time.
As Derby County’s Charity of the Year, Sight Support Derbyshire will pay the entrance fee if you commit to raising sponsorship for Sight Support Derbyshire.
For the first time ever, Sight Support Derbyshire will also pay the entrance fee of the 3k if you commit to raising sponsorship for Sight Support Derbyshire.
Robin Toal, fundraising manager of Sight Support Derbyshire said: “We are so excited to be able to offer free participation in the 10k and 3k if you commit to raising sponsorship for Sight Support Derbyshire.
This makes the run an event for the whole family.”
Sight Support Derbyshire is a local charity making a real difference to local blind and visually impaired adults and children. The run takes place on April 1, 2012 at 9.30am at Pride Park Stadium.
Sight Support Derbyshire have limited places available and are accepting applications now.
Sight Support Derbyshire will pay for anybody’s entrance fee who agrees to raise sponsorship for the charity in return, meaning that you can participate for free.
