Twenty-four young golfers from four surrounding clubs made their way across the sun drench fairways of Matlock Golf Club on Sunday 22nd July 2018 to take their allocated tee for the latest round of the GolfSixes League.
The competition sees six team members from Matlock, Shirland, Chesterfield and South Chesterfield Golf Clubs playing in a fun pairs texas scramble format over six holes.
This was the fourth match of a summer series of eight, two at each participating club.
The GolfSixes format is promoted by The Golf Foundation and is to provide playing opportunities for young golfers who are learning the game and are new to golf club membership.
The local clubs involved have thriving junior sections and are pleased to welcome new members.
