Shipley Hall frustrated by the weather against Morton

Shipley Hall battered first and scored a useful 262/8, with Mark Starr 66, Ryan North 81 not out and Tom Starr 42 before bad weather finished their game against Morton.

Shipley were looking forward to their chance to bowl and gain a few more points, but had to be content with the 11 point.

Morton gained 10 points so both teams had to be satisfied with their lot

Shipley Hall II were beaten by eight wickets by Stanton-by-Dale at Shipley. Neil Parkin hit a useful 45, Stephen Cokayne 24 and Zail Wood an attractive 36 as they reached 180 all out with the help of 35 extras.

When Stanton-by-dale batted, a sparkling 100 not out from Phil Gregory and 59 from S. Sharma ensured that Stanton-by-Dale coasted to victory.

Shipley Hall II won five points and Stanton-by-Dale 27 points.
