Matlock racer Ash Stone returned to action in style at Mallory Park last weekend with two race victories.
Stone has only recently got back on the track following a 120mph crash at the same circuit last month which saw him suffer a fractured wrist and bruising to his body.
He had to repair his own bike and lost out on valuable championship points, dropping to second in the title race in the process.
Sunday was the day he had to face Mallory Park again for round four of the EMRA (East Midlands Racing Association) 600cc superstock series and secured an impressive double victory which moved him to just five points behind the championship leader.
He said: “I’d like to thank the team, my family and my friends for all their support, as well as my sponsors Embling Home Improvements Ltd, Parkside Fitness Matlock, DLS UK Ltd, Gold Financial Services and Roy Jervis Ltd for keeping me on track.”
