KEITH Loring is to stand down next week as Derbyshire CCC chief executive.
His successor is Simon Storey, 42, currently country manager for Johnson & Johnson, based in Zurich.
He will have access to his predecessor throughout a si- month handover period, after which Keith Loring will retain a consultancy role, focusing on generating new commercial opportunities and growing advertising and sponsorship revenue.
Chairman Chris Grant said: “Keith has worked tirelessly to improve the off-field performance in his three-and-a-half years as chief executive. I would like to offer him my sincere thanks for his efforts and the support he has offered during my time as chairman.
“He has been instrumental in transforming the look of the County Ground and that is his legacy. “
“I’m absolutely delighted that the club will be able to retain access to his commercial skills and I am convinced that Keith will unlock additional revenue streams in his new consultancy role.”
