Two of Britain’s most highly-acclaimed and charismatic singer/songwriters, Henry Priestman and Reg Meuross, will present an evening of contemporary original songs at The Railway on Saturday as part of the Buxton Festival Fringe.
The performance will mark a welcome return to Buxton for Priestman, who played the Opera House with The Christians for whom he wrote most of the hits in the early 90s.
His solo album Chronicles of Modern Life attracted a lot of attention from Johnny Walker and others on Radio 2.
Meuross, dubbed the ‘Master Storyteller’ due to his imaginative and finely-crafted songs, will be performing material from his six critically-acclaimed albums
The pair will be supported by young singer/songwriter Jess Vincent, with songs from her new album Time Frame.
The gig starts at 8pm. Tickets, priced £10, are available on 01298 78660.
