Coronavirus: Extinction Rebellion fundraiser postponed, High Peak Orchestra and Daria Kulesh concerts cancelled

Many concerts and shows planned for this weekend have been postponed or scrapped to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

A benefit gig, in aid of Extinction Rebellion, featuring Jig For A Kiss, Left Hand Drive and Dalton at Chesterfield Miners Welfare on Saturday, March 21, has been postponed to a date to be arranged.

Saturday’s concerts by High Peak Orchestra at Chapel en le Frith Methodist Church, Daria Kulesh at Holloway’s Florence Nightingale Hall and Ma Bessie’s Prohibition Party at Chapel en le Frith Town Hall have all been cancelled.

Matlock Storytelling Cafe has cancelled its monthly session at the town's Imperial Rooms on April 3.

Junction Arts have postponed all its workshops and arts until the end of April. Shirebrook Market Square Enlivenment Celebration on April 4 and This Girl Codes Pop-Up Lab in Bolsover Assembly Rooms on April 8 have both been cancelled.
