Great prize up for grabs at food festival

The Great Food and Drink Festival will be heading to Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire for a second year over the August Bank Holiday and we have a family ticket up for grabs to be won in our latest great competition.

The event, which had over 10,000 people attend last year, is set to be bigger and better than ever before.

Celebrity chef Simon Rimmer has joined an already star-studded line-up in for The Great Food and Drink Festival. Simon, who is co-host of Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch will be appearing at the festival on Saturday, August 27.

Over the August bank holiday weekend of August 27-29, celebrity chef and two-time Michelin Starred Michael Caines will also be appearing on the Sunday with the line-up completed by former Great British Bake-off champion Nancy Birtwhistle, appearing on Monday, August 29.

There will be a vast variety of food, drink, crafts and entertainment on for all ages to enjoy at the incredibly beautiful grounds of Newstead Abbey for the festival. With a range of live music thrown in on each day which is performed by fantastic local talent, there certainly is something for everyone.

With a soft play area, Punch and Judy shows and a whole lot more, even the little ones will have a fantastic day out, not to mention that under tens go free too.

With a vast array of stalls set to be at Newstead Abbey, you will not be disappointed in the variation, diversity and tastes that you’ll be able to acquire.
