Lockdown has put the brakes on this year’s Rock and Blues Custom Show in Derbyshire with organisers postponing the bands and bikes bash until 2021.

Groups including Bootyard Bandits, Live/Wire and Cats In Space, were due to play at the Coney Grey showground in Pentrich this summer.

A statement posted on the show’s Facebook site says: “In the last few weeks and months we have been working very hard investigating the possibility of rescheduling the Rock & Blues Custom Show 2020 from July to the end of September. For a while it looked very positive. However, in light of the extraordinary circumstances currently enveloping the country this year’s show has had to be postponed.“This is to enable us to follow government guidelines and keep our much-valued Rock & Blues community safe.”

Next year’s show will take place from July 29 to 31.
