Family film screening for village hall appeal

Starkholmes Village Hall is to be the setting for a screening of one of the smash hits of 2013.

Turbo can be seen there on Saturday, January 11.

Doors open at 5.45pm and the the film starts at 6.30pm.

The entrance fee is £4 per head (a family of four is £13).

There will be a licensed bar and a candy/popcorn bar. Due to licensing laws, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Turbo is a computer-animated sports film from DreamWorks Animation and has yet to be released on DVD.

It has received rave reviews across the globe.

This is a chance for you to come along and enjoy this family evening and help this community space in Starkholmes as it continues to raise money for a new roof.

n The Roving Crows will be in concert at Tansley Village Hall on Saturday, February 8.

The Live & Local concert gets under way at 7.30pm.
