Leading dance company State of Emergency presents the hard-hitting new dance theatre show Love&Sex aka Per-Mission at Déda in Derby on Friday, January 24, at 7pm.
The show, targeted at young people aged 13-25, boldly explores themes through dance and music, examining the pressures and comedy of relationships.
Exposing myths and challenging preconceptions, Love&Sex has been created to entertain and inform without judgement. Sexuality, peer pressure, emotions and the influence of social media are all in the mix in a show which has been developed in partnership with Brook, the UK’s leading provider of sexual health services and advice for young people under 25.
The show – a collaboration between State of Emergency and choreographer Colin Poole – tackles the issues affecting young people with tact and sensitivity through distinctive and highly-charged choreography.
Tickets are £10 (£8 concessions) and a limited number of £5 tickets are available for school, student and youth groups.
Tickets can be booked by visiting www.deda.uk.com or calling the Box Office on 01332 370911.
