Matlock Town Council is inviting you to get involved in a Saturdays Unplugged event, creating crafty stories in Hall Leys Park on Saturday, June 15.

The council has teamed up with Matlock Live! to bring you Live! Stories.

Join professional storytellers Helen Appleton and Rachel Murray for creative story making sessions. Design and make your own wish-giving characters and their stories and see where the adventure takes you.

Helen and Rachel will host two imagination-inspired sessions for 4-12 year olds and their families.

The pair have been telling tales and working creatively with stories since a long long time ago.

They both love the great outdoors and all types of magic and mystery.

Their intention is for everyone to live happily ever after.

4-8 year olds will have an especially tailored session from 10.30am-11.30am and for 8-12 year olds the session will be from 12noon-1pm.

All Saturdays Unplugged events are free of charge and there is no need to book.

Just turn up at Hall Leys Park Bandstand with your imagination at the ready.

Saturdays Unplugged aim to offer new ways for families to explore and discover Matlock together, trying new activities and having adventures with colleagues from MatlockLive! and Groundwork.
