Matlock Town Council is inviting you to share a Saturday Unplugged event on a nature walk and Bug Hunt this weekend in Hall Leys Park and Denefields, Matlock.
With critter experts from Groundwork in attendance, you can turn nature detective and find out just how ‘wild’ life gets in Matlock town centre.
The walk will take place from 10.30am at The Bandstand in Hall Leys Park and will take about two hours, exploring various areas in the park and in the nature reserve at Denefields.
Children are asked to please bring their parents, because organisers can’t take you if you’re not accompanied by an adult!
Bring a snack and have a picnic – if you think you can keep it to yourself and not share it with the bugs, and do bring your cameras to snap all those creepy crawlies.
All Saturdays Unplugged events are brought to you free of charge by Matlock Town Council and there is no need to book. Just turn up at Hall Leys Park Bandstand with your enthusiasm at the ready.
Saturdays Unplugged aim to offer new ways for families to explore and discover Matlock together, trying new activities and having adventures with colleagues from MatlockLive! and Groundwork.
