A classic slice of Sixties Gold

Sixties Gold returns to Sheffield City Hall on Wednesday, September 28, for another exciting musical journey through the sixties with some of the great icons of that magical and historic era.

Topping the bill are Gerry and the Pacemakers who were the first band to have three consecutive No. 1s in the UK charts with How Do You Do It, I Like It and the anthemic, You’ll Never Walk Alone. Following this, they went on to have many more hits through the sixties, none more successful than the classic Ferry Cross The Mersey.

Joining Gerry and the Pacemakers are The Searchers, who with their unique sound have maintained their reputation as one of Liverpool’s finest sixties groups. Their hits include Sweets For My Sweet, Don’t Throw Your Love Away, When You Walk In The Room, and their No. 1 Needles and Pins.

Also included in the line-up for this nostalgic concert are The Fortunes and also Chip Hawkes former original lead singer with The Tremeloes.

The concert starts 7.30pm and tickets cost £22, £24 and £26. To book tickets, call the box office on 01142 789 789.
