Acoustic festival features local talent

The Bookcafe in Derby city centre will be holding its Summer Acoustic Festival on Saturday, August 24.

The event at the venue, based on the Cornmarket, will feature 12 hours of the finest acoustic talent from Derby and the wider region.

In addition there will be stalls and a wider variety of entertainment to keep you thoroughly entertained during the course of the event.

Showcasing the fantastic depth of talent available on your doorstep, the Summer Acoustic Festival will involve over 15 of the region’s best performers playing during the day outside the venue and inside the Bookcafe at night

Acts confirmed as taking part are Scott Thomas , Steady Sound, Brookfield, Alice , Karl and the Marx Brothers, Jamie Beau, The Tremolouxs, Carl Ballinger and Misk Hills Mountain Rambler.
