The choir is one of the oldest male voice choirs in the country, dating back to 1903, and the concert is part of a very busy and full year of performances, including a successful tour to Norfolk in May.

The concert will include the likes of Stout Hearted Men, Bright Eyes, Jamaica Farewell, You’ll Never Walk Alone, My Love is Like a Red, Red, Rose, Speed Your Journey and many more.

Everyone is welcome and entry is by ticket, available from St. Thomas’s Church or on the door on the evening at £5 for adults and £3 for young people up to the age of 16.

The choir is always pleased to welcome new members. Why not come to the concert and make yourself known or turn up at practise on Monday evening at 7.30 p.m at the Dale Club, Jacksdale. Concerts are already being planned for 2015 including a tour to Durham, singing for the Miners Banners Association and at Beamish Museum.
