AN old favourite returns to The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, February 10, when singing sensation Connie Lush brings her band Blues Shouter along for their latest gig there.

Connie Lush is widely recognised as one of the finest blues singers that the United Kingdom has produced. She was voted Best UK Female Vocalist by readers of Blues In Britain for five separate years, earning a richly deserved place in the greats.

She is a highly accomplished singer/songwriter whose reputation is spreading beyond these shores. Her appearances at the King Street venue in the past have built up a loyal following.

For something a little different, try ZZ Top tribute act The ZZ Tops, paying musical homage to the heavily-bearded, hugely popular American trio.

Finally, the latest Acoustic Wednesdays session, in the bar, features rock and blues from Woolley and Archer.

Doors open at 8pm for Connie Lush And Blues Shouter, and The ZZ Tops. Admission is £10 for each gig. The acoustic session starts at 9pm and is free of charge.
