Croon the night away with trio

If you fancy a spot of festive crooning this year, then Buxton Opera House is the place to be on Friday, December 23.

Following the success and popularity of Legends of Swing at theatres throughout the UK, and the revival of swing music, Christmas Crooners, originally arranged by Matthew Freeman, worldwide musical supervisor of the West End’s Rat Pack, is a wonderful trip down memory lane. Christmas Crooners features many of the Christmas favourites of Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra.

A cast of West End singers including Chris Vincent and Robert Grose, backed by the Jazz All-Stars band perform over 30 festive hits, staged in the style of the famous Andy Williams Christmas Show, complete with Christmas trees, a rocking chair and of course a beautiful fireplace, just right for chestnuts roasting on an open fire.
