Steve Ritchie, Al Parrish and Rob Ritchie, the dynamic rhythm and harmony trio from the Canadian band Tanglefoot, are back in the UK on their Un-Tangled Tour.
They will be performing a gig at the Concert Room, Nailers Football Ground, Bridge Street, Belper, on Friday, June 7, starting at 8pm.
This powerhouse trio bring a high energy mix of Canadian folk and roots music, delivered with good humour, stunning arrangements and great musicianship.
On this tour, they are playing at several major folk festivals and always enjoy playing at Belper, where they have a strong following of loyal supporters.
They will be aiming to produce a memorable musical experience for their fans in the area.
Tanglefoot were formed in the early 1980s in Ontario, Canada.
They were initially put together by schoolteachers Joe Grant, Bob Wagar, and Tim Rowat to play traditional music.
They later became a five-piece band, playing largely original music.
They regularly toured Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Their following in this country means there is always a warm welcome when the likes of Steve, Al and Rob are touring here.
