IF you have ever whistled along or tapped a toe to one of the Electric Light Orchestra’s many hits over the years, you might want to see The ELO Experience, at Derby’s Assembly Rooms on Thursday, February 23.
Formed in 1970 by singer/songwriter Jeff Lynne, the Electric Light Orchestra became one of the world’s best known and most popular recording bands.
Packing stadiums across the world throughout sellout tours such as Out Of The Blue, Face The Music and Time, ELO produced a seemingly endless array of hits including Living Thing, Telephone Line, Sweet Talking Woman, Turn To Stone and, of course, Mr Blue Sky.
The band’s hits will be replicated and performed with extreme accuracy by The ELO Experience.
The gig starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £16.50.
