Exile Festival is back for more

The Exile Music Festival (previously Belper Music Festival) is back in Sabine Hay, Darley Dale for its 2012 event, over the weekend of June 29-July 1.

This promises to continue the success of last year as the team at the Exile Festival plans a wonderful event in the beautiful wooded hillside location at Sabine Hay to showcase the best of local and indie music from around the area.

There are 20 performers on stage over the three day festival.

Highlights on Friday include BB BlackDog, Bluebird Parade and Haiku Salut.

Saturday is headlined by Biggles Wartime Band with Two Man Ting and local sensation Moon Bullet. These follow on from a Saturday afternoon showcase for young musicians including Auriyga, The Ornamental Gentlemen and Sophie Kilburn.

Sunday afternoon is a treat with Steve Tilston, Red Ruff, Shades of Radiance and more.

On top of that, all the usual delights of a small family friendly festival will be available, a fabulous camping

location, workshops, stalls, real ale plus a smörgåsbord of fresh food, fresh breads and fresh vegetarian food

provided by the professional team from the rejuvenated Fishpond in Matlock Bath.
