The Sex Pistols Experience
The Sex Pistols Experience

TRIBUTE act The Sex Pistols Experience will be strutting their stuff at The Venue in Derby on Friday, February 18.

From their early beginnings performing clubs and pubs around England, they have gone on to make a worldwide reputation built from over 1,000 performances, having done extensive tours of the USA, tours throughout Europe and South America, taking in cities from New York to Los Angeles, El Paso to Seattle, Sao Paulo, Rio De Janeiro and Maringa, Berlin, Barcelona and Bradford and everywhere in-between.

So convincing is the live show that the BBC, Sky TV, Channel4, Fox TV (in the U.S.) and lately the new movie Who Killed Nancy? (out on DVD) have all hired this band for re-enactments in film and TV documentaries as the Sex Pistols/Sid And Nancy.

The Sex Pistols Experience are the only band to of had the thumbs-up of approval from the original Sex Pistols. While on tour in America they were invited as special guests on Jonesy’s Jukebox – the acclaimed radio show of Pistols guitarist Steve Jones.

They spent the afternoon being interviewed and playing a few Pistols favourites live on air together to millions of listeners throughout Los Angeles and across the web.

The Venue is based on Abbey Street, Derby, and the gig is for those aged 18 and over. Tickets are £7 in advance and are available on 01332 203545.
