The explosive thrilling experience of a Metallica gig is brought to life by these dedicated musicians, all committed Metallica fans who have been wowing audiences across Britain and further afield for the past 15 years.

Mentallica’s show at the King Street gig offers up a treat not just for Metallica fans but also for lovers of metal in general.

On Saturday, November 5, Marcus Bonfanti and his band are the visitors.

One of the rising stars of the British blues scene, with or without his band, Bonfanti is heading out on his first UK headlining tour and one of those dates is to be at The Flowerpot, so make sure you come along to see what all the fuss is about.

Wednesday, November 9 is the date of the next Acoustic Wednesdays session, to be held in the bar in the venue from 9pm. The free gig this time out will feature a performance by Chris Hall and Hazel Scott.

Finally, there’s the return of an old Flowerpot favourite on Thursday, November 10, a legendary figure on the live scene: the one and only John Otway.

His live performances incorporates music, stories and humour and he is proud to proclaim himself a ‘two-hit wonder’. This came about Bunsen Burner made it into the upper reaches of the charts ten years ago – a quarter of a century after his last chart hit Cor Baby That’s Really Free – thanks to a concerted effort from his dedicated fans.

Doors open for the gigs at 8pm (except for the Acoustic Wednesday session) and admission is £8 for Mentallica, £9 (£8 concessions) for Marcus Bonfanti Band, and £10 for John Otway.
