Festival returns to city centre

The Furthest From the Sea festival returns to Derby on Saturday, June 21, aiming to entertain people of all ages.

This is a day of free entertainment and activities for all ages, taking place between 11am-4pm in the city’s Cathedral Quarter. It featues four dedicated music stages showcasing well known and emerging local bands and choirs, professional and community-led theatre, dance troupes, a packed-out stand-up comedy stage, a vintage photography trail in conjunction with W.W Winters, exclusive handmade arts and crafts stalls and creative workshops.

There will also be add-on events including Derby Comedy Festival performances from Sinfonia VIVA, Derby Sketching Club’s annual exhibition and a charity firewalk.
