Acoustic singer, composer and musician Louise Jordan brings her spring tour to Belper Folk Club, based at the Old King’s Head in the town, on Tuesday, April 15.

Louise is currently touring the UK to support her critically acclaimed album Florilegium.

With three recordings and six UK tours under her belt, Louise Jordan is back on the road visiting venues across the UK and Europe. A truly independent musician, Louise continues to win support across the country with a stream of exceptional reviews and some national radio play to boot. Louise continues to explore and uncover her own unique sound and style.

Credited as writer, engineer and producer Louise also sings, plays guitar piano and cello on her second studio album Florilegium. Florilegium is a Latin word meaning anthology and the songs describe a range of human emotions and experiences.

Both graceful and engaging, Louise’s music is as simple as it is complex.

Between intricate instrumental arrangements and powerful vocal lines, Florilegium has the elegance and charm to draw the listener onto a sea of calm reflection.

Louise will be touring throughout February with additional dates in March when she will be promoting her album Florilegium. For further details see
