MORE tickets have been released for The Angel And The Fallen, the Royal British Legion’s 90th anniversary concert at Derby Cathedral featuring top soprano Lesley Garrett and The Band of the King’s Division.
The tickets have been made available due to understandable public demand to see one of the country’s leading classical performers appear locally.
Stuart Allen, vice-chairman of the Derbyshire Royal British Legion said: “Initially we were unsure how popular the concert would be but we have been amazed by the response. We have been able to release further tickets at £20 for the balcony and £10 for the stalls.
“I would advise anyone who wishes to go to the concert to buy their tickets soon as there will be no opportunity to pay on the night.”
The concert will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from Derby Cathedral Shop and Foulds Music on Irongate, or can be bought direct from The Royal British Legion by sending a stamped addressed envelope and a cheque made payable to The Royal British Legion, to Stuart Allen, The Royal British Legion, 2nd Floor, Saxon House, Heritage Gate, Friary Street, Derby, DE1 1NL.
