The versatile jazz trio Hot Fingers will be giving a Live And Local concert at The Glebe Field Centre in Crich on December 8 and tickets are already selling fast for their visit.
Fronted by the irrepressible Buxton-raised showman Thomas ‘Spats’ Langham, Hot Fingers will shimmy you into the glamorous world of vintage acoustic string music.
You will visit the hot jazz of 1920s New York and sophisticated 1930s swing; from the French Coffee House sound of the king of gypsy swing, Django Reinhardt, through the syncopated Latin rhythms of Oscar Aleman, to the early blues of Lonnie Johnson and the jazz and swing of Eddie Lang. Tom is joined by Malcolm Sked and Danny Blyth.
Tickets for Hot Fingers in concert are available from David Lane on 01773 856664 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
