Greyhound triple bill

the first in what is hoped to be a series of gigs organised by Derbyshire-based Deafbox Promotions is to be held at The Greyhound in Belper on Saturday, February 19.

Deafbox Promotions aims to organise and promote gigs showcasing the best and most talented performers and bands from the local area.

The line-up for this first free gig will feature three diverse and talented local acts.

Last Date are a young Belper-based rock band influenced by Paramore, Hey Monday and the All-American Rejects.

Fighting Evil Is Cool! are young Derby ska punks playing a fast brand of American-influenced ska/punk with big trumpet and vocal hooks, conjuring up comparisons with Catch 22, Street Light Manifesto or maybe even The Aquabats.

Finally, there’s Peter Backler, frontman of Belper-based Ejectorseat, performing a solo acoustic set.

Doors will open at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm.
