Get down and get with it when Slyde Alive perform their tribute to Slade at The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, July 18.
Slyde Alive deliver the sounds, the sights and the power of Slade, faithfully replicating the bawdy singalong tunes, the glam and glitter excess.
Much more than that, they give you the raw rock and roll power that was the Black Country legends’ calling card at every live gig.
Slyde Alive were formed to play the classic Slade songs the way the band themselves played them live. The set list is a glitter-strewn journey through Slade’s glam rock anthems of the 70s, right up to the rock revival hits of the 80s.
The band members are all seasoned pros on the tribute circuit who will give you two and a half hours of glam rock heaven.
Then, on Saturday, July 19, the King Street venue hosts tribute band Oye Santana,
Witness the superb guitar wizardry of Milan ‘Carlos’ Webb, the keyboard mastery of Gez Kahan, the astonishing vocals of Hector Gomez, all augmented by a rhythm section with more groove than you could shake a pair of maracas at.
Doors open at 8pm and admission is £10 for Slyde Alive and £10 for Oye Santana. Advance tickets are available from The Flowerpot & RAW Promotions.
