POPULAR women’s harmony group Grace Notes will be performing at the Burton Institute, Winster, on Saturday, February 19.
Maggie Boyle, Lynda Hardcastle and Helen Hockenhull are highly respected singers and musicians with their own individual singing careers in folk music.
They came together as Grace Notes in 1992 and their four CDs contain a wide range of beautiful songs, traditional and contemporary, from ballads to The Beatles, sung to their own arrangement. Some of their material is sung unaccompanied in three-part harmony, some to the accompaniment of Helen on the keyboard or Maggie on the flute or bodhran.
The show starts at 8pm and the bar opens at 7.15pm.
Advance tickets are £7 from Winster Post Office or by calling 01629 650090, or £8 on the door (if still available).
