Indietracks wants to hear from bands

The application window is now open for bands and DJs interested in playing at the Indietracks Festival on the weekend of July 24-26.

The popular annual event, held at the Midland Railway Butterley, near Ripley, will have up to 50 bands playing across four stages, as well as five DJs for evening discos.

Festival organisers will encourage applications from any interested artists and DJs, so if you fancy playing, get in touch. Also, if you know a band that might like to apply please let them know that the festival is inviting applications.

To apply, please email the following to indietracksbands@gmail.com by Sunday, December 7:

A short biography – one paragraph is fine, and please indicate where you’re located.

A link to your music. Bandcamp, Soundcloud and YouTube links are all perfect. Please don’t attach MP3s. (DJs don’t need to send a music link).

Please put “[Your band / DJ name]: Indietracks 2015″ as the subject title of your email. This will help sift you out from any spam.

A spokesman said: “Early bird tickets will be available nearer the time. We’ll also be looking for volunteers (stewards and stage assistants) and workshop organisers, so please keep an eye on our website early next year.

“In the meantime, our recent Indietracks compilation albums are all available on Bandcamp. There’s dozens of fantastic songs by artists who played at the last few festivals, and all proceeds go to the Midland Railway charity. See https://indietracks.bandcamp.com/ for more.”
