Belper And District Organ and Keyboard Club is inviting you to start your Christmas Celebrations with the one and only Tim Flint.

He will be in concert there on Saturday, December 21.

Belper-born Tim, who is also the club president, has been on the professional organ scene for many years, and is often referred to as the Liberace of the organ world, due to his sparkling stage outfits and great personality.

For those who haven’t had the ‘Tim Flint Experience’, it is something memorable.

Tim isn’t just an organist, but also an entertainer, a musician, and a showman, believing that each performance should be ‘a show’, where the audience can forget their worries for a while, and lose themselves in the evening.

As a player, he is excellent, being one of that rare breed that can turn his playing to almost any style. You name it, he can play it, whether it’s classical, orchestral, jazz, big band, theatre organ, electronic organ, jazz organ, piano, Latin American, and even more modern styles.

Since the mid 90s, he has been closely associated with the Roland organ company, presenting their instruments at all the major organ festivals and shows in the UK.

A great evening of music and humour is always guaranteed with Tim and this should be the perfect way to start your Christmas.

The concert will be at The Congregational Church, Green Lane, Belper and starts at 7.30pm on Saturday December 21.

Admission is £5 members and £7 non members, with the price including refreshments.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
