Musician and performer Mitch Benn brings his latest show to Derby’s Guildhall Theatre on Saturday, February 15 at 8pm.
In Mitch Been is the 37th Beatle, the star of Radio Four’s The Now Show combines his Scouse upbringing with his love of music and a lifelong obsession with Liverpool’s most famous sons.
This is most definitely not a tribute show and while his affection for his subjects is well documented, expect the satirical twists for which Mitch is well known.
As Mitch himself said: “Many have claimed the title Fifth Beatle. They can’t all be right; some were righter than others...”
Mitch Benn is the 37th Beatle premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe 2013 to much critical acclaim and he has recently recorded an abridged version for BBC Radio 4.
Tickets are priced at £15 and are available on 01332 255800.
