Musical treat is back in the area

WILLY Russell’s Blood Brothers returns to the area this week when it appears at Derby’s Assembly Rooms from August 30 to September 3.

Back by popular demand, the legendary musical tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with tragic consequences.

Starring X Factor’s Nikki Evans as Mrs Johnstone, the catchy score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.

Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-award winning Blood Brothers, and Bill Kenwright’s production, having recently celebrated its 23rd year in London, continues to enjoy standing ovations at every performance.

Tickets are £17-£31 (plus concessions)
