The fifth Mansfield Bank Holiday Rugby Do promises to be bigger and better than ever before - and tickets for the event are on sale now.
This year’s event, taking place on Saturday August 27, from 7pm until midnight, boasts a wide ranging line-up with something for everyone.
Headlining the annual show will be Queen tribute, Mercury, who will perform hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Gaga, Don’t Stop Me Now and more in the indoor main arena.
The band, often described as the world’s best Queen and Freddie Mercury tribute act, are Joseph Lee Jackson, Pat Coleman, Lee Harvey, Glen Scrimshaw and Mike Scrimshaw.
Taking to the stage in the indoor marquee arena will be X Factor finalist, Bhupsi Brown and six-piece live band Ginny Brown and Collective.
Bhupsi, who made it all the way to the live shows in last year’s X Factor, has been entertaining audiences for 20 years now with her powerhouse voice.
She’ll be singing all the hits of Tina Turner and more.
Ginny Brown and Collective, will please the crowds with an array of soul, funk and disco from across the decades.
DJs and hosts include Stewart Nicholson, Jono Edwards, Nicke Ackerman, Miss Margo and Steven Alexander.
Other attractions include a shuttle bus in and out of the town centre from 10.30pm, free parking, the Cheeky Monkey shot and bomb bar, food and burger stalls, six licensed bars (serving until 11.45pm), an official photographer and much more.
More than 3,000 people attended last year’s concert. Advanced tickets for the event priced at £10 are now available to buy from Mansfield Rugby Club, Andwhynot Bar & Restaurant, The Junction Bar & Restaurant, The Red Bar & Grill, The Devonshire, The Lion At Farnsfield and LINX Hair Studio on Church Street, Mansfield.
