Derby Jazz’s latest season of concerts is already under way and the latest offering will take place on Friday, January 9.
Derby Jazz has a well-earned reputation for bringing the best artists that the UK and international jazz scene has to offer, directly to the heart of the UK.
From the brightest, new British talent such as the multi award winning trumpeter, Laura Jurd, to one of the UK’s greatest jazz musicians, bassist Dave Green, via an elegant celebration of jazz classics with The Great Wee Band; an altogether different take on archetypal tunes with the Andy Cleyndert Quartet featuring Martin Shaw; Alex Garnett’s Bunch of Fives’ all-star line up; plus Radio 3 favourites, Partisans; to the stunning pianist Pat Thomas with South African sax player, Ntshuks Bonga. Derby Jazz are delighted to bring you yet another impressive line-up this Winter.
