Top double bill for heavy metal fans

Legends of heavy metal Oliver-Dawson Saxon and the mighty AC/DC tribute, AC/DC UK, will play a rock double bill at the popular MFN club, at Shipley Gate, on Saturday, August 16.

Oliver-Dawson Saxon features rock legends Graham Oliver (guitar) and Steve ‘Dobby’ Dawson (bass), who toured the word as members of the multi-platinum metal legends Saxon in the 1980s.

During that time, they played the mammoth Monsters of Rock festival at Castle Donington twice, in 1980 and 1982, plus huge tours of the USA.

They will be joined on the bill for this gig by the fantastic AC/DC UK, who have boasted Angus and Malcolm Young’s cousin on guitar.

Expect deafening renditions of Saxon classics such as Wheels Of Steel, 747, Never Surrender and Princess Of The Night and AC/DC anthems such as back In Black, Whole Lotta Rosie, Thunderstruck and Highway To Hell amongst others.

Tickets for what promises to be a spectacular gig are just £10 in advance and there is a strict limit of 450 available.

This is an all ages gig and under 16s are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
