Ten days of music, art, poetry and theatre will be coming to Bakewell.
The town will be hosting its annual arts festival from August 4 to August 14 with a range of activities taking place.
This year’s event is set to be louder than ever.
Highlights will be the legendary BAF Sessions at the tent’s in the Castle Inn car park and an acoustic programme featuring the best of local, regional and national songsters.
A new initiative for the festival this year includes ‘Festival Front’, where Bakewell’s shops and businesses offer ‘front of house’ showcase space to young and emerging talent.
This year sees another glittering dance and theatre programme including two new contemporary dance workshops, Cotton Grass Theatre’s Twelfth Night in the setting of Thornbridge Hall and Bakewell Youth Theatre’s outdoor performance of Kiss Me Kate.
The jewel in the crown will be Live on the Lorry featuring the second BAF Battle of the Bands.
