There’s a real treat for fans of Bono, The Edge and co when tribute band U2UK strut their stuff onstage at The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, September 14.
The acclaimed tribute act will be rocking their way through all parts of U2’s illustrious and hugely successful career at the King Street and are a popular band wherever they play.
Carrying on the tribute band theme, there will be a return visit to the King Street venue on Saturday, September 15 for Rainbow Rising, paying homage to the musical legacy of rock aces Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow.
Then, on Wednesday, September 19, the latest in the free Acoustic Wednesdays gigs, from 9pm in the bar at the venue, features a set of swamp and blues from Lil Jim and Hazel Scott.
Doors open at 8pm and admission is £10 for U2UK and £8 for Rainbow Rising.
