Trio of popular classics

The latest concert in the 2013/2014 Nottingham Classics season takes place on Wednesday, April 30, from 7.30pm, at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall.

The event is a Philharmonia Concert Gala Concert, to be conducted by the legendary Vladimir Ashkenazy.

The programme consists of three highly popular classical works: Sibelius’s tone poem Finlandia, Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No 2, and Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.
