The Grand Pavilion in Matlock Bath has an exciting and extensive line-up of live music, theatre, art and heritage events that are coming your way for 2014.
Here is just a selection of the forthcoming treats that you can see at the venue in the coming weeks:
On Friday, April 25, there’s a concert there by the Lucy Ward Band, from 7.30pm.
A nominee for the 2014 Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year Award, Lucy Ward, together with her amazing band, is coming to the Grand Pavilion.
Joining Lucy on stage will be Belinda O’Hooley, Heidi Tidow (keys and vox), Joy Gravestock (fiddle), Sam Pegg (bass) and Steve MacLachlan from The Willows on percussion.

Letz Zep, the Led Zeppelin Tribute Band, are the visitors on Friday, May 2, from 7.30pm. Covering everything in the illustrious Led Zeppelin back catalogue, you will not be disappointed by this class act.

There’s A Night at the Opera by New Georgian Opera on Saturday, May 3.
This gala evening will feature performances by two rising operatic stars, soprano Meeta Raval and countertenor Oliver Gerrish.
Meeta won the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World in 2011 and has gone from strength to strength. Oliver is in demand on the national and international music scene. Forming the New Georgian Opera, Meeta and Oliver are a tour de force.
They will be performing with professional musicians a number of classical operatic pieces together with some more well known classics from shows.
Tickets are £20 in advance (£15 for Friends of the Grand Pavilion).

Then, on Saturday, May 10, you can see Wam Bam Band, the ever popular local soul and funk group, who will be playing a Pavilion fundraising gig.
